Stinger problems

Stinger makes 1000 cat run like crap

I have a 2007 M1000. Runs good with no stinger. As soon as I throw on my MBRP stinger, it starts gargalling and obviously losing power. I have an aftermarket Y pipe that isn't on the sled right now cause I was told not to use it. Sled also burns a hell of alot of fuel & oil. 35k/ tank of fuel & 2L of oil.
My wifes 2008 M6 has the same stinger problem but is awesome on fuel & oil.

Can you open it up and check the packing. It may be plugged up or even have an old mouse nest in it.
