Spot or Sat Phone

Has anyone tried the new Spot Connect yet? I am still trying to decide between a gps with a Spot capability - or just go with a Sat phone or try this one out

If you could trust that you sat. phone was reliable and would work everywhere, I would use that. However I have a Spot and it has saved my azz before! Got stuck overnight in the mountains sledding. Search and Rescue looked at my GPS cordinants and came right to me in the middle of the night. 30 miles from the nearest parking lot. I didn't hit the help button because I was not injured....just stuck. Thats the good thing about spot. If you set it to track, anyone you want can see exactly where your at all day long. Too bad you couldnt carry both.
