speedometer not working on my mountain max

check the joint between the speedo cover and the driveshaft. sometimes an indication of a bearing going bad if its broken. sometimes an easy fix, sometimes it can be a bugger.

I learned last year that this was the leading indicator of bearing on Speedo side going. Fix ASAP before other issues arise. ie Drive Shaft failure.
Once you have chain case off to fix speedo bearing check chain case bearings.

I didn't pay enough attention to this and it cost a few bucks to fix it all.

thx.....I'll check this as I was going to change the chain case oil anyways......and check sprockets at same time
