Spartan Race - Edmonton

Anyone run the Spartan race this year? I've never done anything like this before. My gawd, people's idea of fun is twisted!

Joking aside, I don't regret it and will probably run next year just to make it to the top of the rope climb. Beside the rope, who woulda guessed that the mud pit would be the hardest obstacle?

My wife and her friend did it, I was supposed to but was working. It might be a little hard but sure is satisfying when you finish, just got to avoid those burpees at all costs, lol.

lol, the burpees are pretty much the only reason I'm sore today. I'll try to be better prepared next year. Who has two thumbs ad IS NOT doing a single burpee next year?

It's actually not as tough as it looks. They let us help eachother and are not super sticky about the rules. The two hardest obstacles where the mud put and rope climb. I heard that only 5% of runners were able to climb the rope.

Ya the rope is hard, have to use the army technique, that seems to be what the ppl who make it use.
