And on this day designated for Thanksgiving Let us Give Thanks:
Thanks for Big Tracks, Big power, Turbo's, Rider Forward design, and instant lift. Oh and "Flickable"
Give Thanks for the Smell of Two stroke smoke hovering in the cold morning air, and the Feel of a slight prickle of frost on your cheeks,
And for the pull on your arms when climbing that sick line, or leaning into a high speed corner of a groomed trail.
But most importantly let us give Thanks to the people.....young and old..... new and experienced....in your life that make Snowmobiling the Sport it was intended to be.
Thanks for the Giggles and Squeals of the kids who will drive around the yard in circles for HOURS......
Thanks for the Two year old doing a fist pump proclaiming "Yesssss SNOW" as the first snowflake falls.....
Thanks to the Spouses who eagerly get up with you at 6 am in the dark and cold to load trailers and fuel up......
Thanks to the Riding buddies who say "I'm In" before you've even finished explaining the epic journey you have planned.....
Thanks to those same buddies who will dig you out of a creek bed or tree hollow, and who you without a doubt trust your life with IF an avalanche should occur.
Thanks to the Snowmobile Clubs and the thousands of Volunteers that keep the clubs going.....
Thanks to the Groomer operators who work all night long.....
Thanks to everyone who fight to keep our public lands, OPEN to the public.
Thanks to all the people who appreciate how GOOD a hot dog tastes cooked over an open fire on the lake.....
Thanks to everyone who is there to share In The Moments of snowmobiling......
And if you read this nodding your head, or find yourself smiling as you recall your memories of snowmobiling......
THANKS TO YOU.
You are The People.
I Give Thanks not only today, but EVERY DAY for The People of snowmobiling.
