haven't seen anything about it, bad deal if it's true. if you sled any lakes, you have to be aware of possible pressure ridges especially after the kind of winds we had last week. I've seen some huge ones out on Lac Cardinal, hitting one of those WFO would be a bad deal.

Very sad to hear. I have heard that there is also a large ridge on Sylvan Lake.

Sad but true. Gord was a very good friend to many. He will be missed. The funeral is today at 1:00 at the Cold Lake agriplex. I expect to see many of his friends there seeing him off on his final journey.

My condolences to his friends and family.

RIP Gord.

Sounds like this fellow will be missed not only by family and friends but the snowmobile community as well. I hope the passenger is not hurt seriously. Does anyone know which lake this occurred on.
