Just was reading on CBC weather that Grand Cache and hinton heavy snow fall warning 10-20 Hinton - Grande Cache
3:23 PM MDT Friday 02 October 2009
Snowfall warning for
Hinton - Grande Cache continued

10 to 20 centimetres of snow by Saturday morning.

An upper disturbance will move slowly southeastwards across Southern British Columbia into the Northwestern United States by Saturday morning. Precipitation associated with the system will fall mainly in the central foothills of Alberta and will arrive in the form of snow. Initially snowfall will generally melt on contact with the warm ground surface however significant accumulations are expected overnight as the snow becomes heavier and the ground cools.

10 to 20 cm of snowfall is expected in the Hinton Grande Cache region by Saturday morning. Conditions are expected to improve by Saturday afternoon as the system moves further southeast and weakens.
