i have 509s and find they fog when not in motion even with the fan, i run dragon dx moto goggles with dual lenses and never fog ever but i like the larger face foam and the nose guard like smiths and 509s have.

I personally find my 5 year old Smith sledding goggles are better for preventing fogging over my 509's. I think this year I may try the Klim goggles, but they're so darn expensive... Or I'll buy another pair of Smith's since they worked well for me!

I freakin LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my smiths. I love the visibility and the fit. I don't fog. I switched out the yellow lens (brightest yellow I've found yet) with a mirrored stance Lens.. It's pretty funky and functional. I love the quality, and the price is awesome.
The pic below is my fuel V2 with the stance mirror lens for funk factor. Awesome lens too though for bright days




I have honestly found that my Yellow lens is by far the brightest lens by far. Awesome definition on low light days.

I find my Smith yellow lense is better/brighter then my 509's also. I find myself using my Smith goggle more then my 509's.

I bought two pairs and have gone all day with out even using my under hood goggle bag.
