I made my own extension for my m7. Its a pretty easy bend. I used 1/8 thick just to make it a little stronger. If you want to upgrade to 09 bumper give catman a pm he's made 4 already. He's pretty busy but he might have time.

Hey Welder, how has it been going? Do you know which MBRP part # you need? Pretty sure i have one since i bought a brand new MBRP can for my 06 M7 (never used) and also have the MBRP can off of my 08 M1000 for sale also.

I have a pattern to build an extention, I have done a few of them already but you have to be willing to do a bit of fitting and some fabbing as there isnt any holes drilled etc. I can sell an extention bent up to you for $250.00 and if you are close I can give you a hand. Sorry for the late reply but I am only home on weekends.

If you want a can that is abit louder go for a jaws can. The mbrp is shown to lose 5hp on a dyno on the M1000. Just my thoughts.

If you are going to a 174 you will need to modify your '09 bumper. Because it needs to go far enough forward to reach the susp mounting bracket just like it did stock, if it doesn't then you create a weak spot and i've seen a few that people didn't bring it far enough forward and they bent the rear section of there tunnel. Just something to keep in mind.
