Was out this weekend and got into the trees, at slower speeds the new 18 had a few issues shifting up. It felt like it would over rev and cut out till i stopped the track and started again. I am wondering if any one else is having these same issues. I am going to be looking to do some clutching changes just wondering if anyone has already played with it at all? Thanks

In them hills.
How many km do you have on? I had similar issues when on break'in.
Now that the belt has worn in a little it seems to be way better.
Reading online some guys think the helix is getting stuck in the reverse notch sometimes.

If it ever happens to you and you cant get it to shift up, try to lock up the track and then get back on the gas.

Its unreal at how low of an rpm it engages, your moving forward before you hit any significant rpm.

Did you do the recommend Cat break in routine for the belt? I haven’t noticed any issues like that.
Up the trail, then I didn't baby it at all.
Snow wasn't that great first couple times out. Didn't start shifting better until we had a deep day, held it to the bar all day. Then I noticed it upshifted better.

yeah I did the proper break in to the belt, i should be out of break in mode at this point have more then 6 hours. going to take a look at the clutches and see if there is anything blatant. But the whole part of the demo sled is to see what works and what doesnt and to let some people try out the new machine.

Well it seems like i might just ride it out a bit more and see what comes of it, was few and far between when it did happen.
