Sledding areas between calgary and canmore

Anybody know of any areas to ride? Started calving and need somewhere really close for daytrips. Thanks

Can be good if there's snow! Sounds like there is right now! Just make sure your sled is insured and registered.

The Sibbald Flats "trail" is called The Powder Face Trail, and is excellent after a big snow dump. If there has not been snow, the weather has been warm, or the wind has been blowing, don't go. It is a wind swept "valley", highly affected by chinooks usually, and quite devoid of snow. That being said, when it is in good shape, you can get to the "Elbow Loop Trail", which is great, well worth the day trip.
