I pay $550/year on mine, full coverage, even if buddy is hauling it and loses it off the sled deck it will be covered. But they are also under the assumption it is stock.

So what happens when your sled gets stolen or falls off your buddies sled deck and is a complete write off and they hand you a cheque for $14,000 while you try to explain it's work over $20,000?

I'd be interested to know where everyone is getting their legitimate turbo insurance from?

I'm still interested to know where guys are insuring their turboed sleds. What type of coverage are you carrying? The quotes I'm getting for Full coverage are around $2300- $3000 per year. Anyone getting anything cheaper?

No way they're saying its turboed... I can't for the life of me get liability in Ontario for an M7 that's registered as a 900 big bore... Insurance hears that and my most reasonable quote was $1000 for liability and needed it appraised and inspected first, most places just plain say no. Gave up on it, got a 13 high country 1100 turbo, $600 through td full coverage!

"$3100.00"
Ouch !!!
A $100000.00 plus boat is only $1200 a year.
That's crazy

oasis is where I insured mine through. 2010 m8 with cutler turbo. 10,000.00 value was around 600.00 to insure. They just needed a letter stating that the turbo was installed by a dealer.

I'm shopping for new insurance since I was just quoted 1500$ per year on a stock sled and after I turbo it it goes to 3000$ seems crazy to me, so who are you insured thru and what are you paying for full coverage?
im with ama and i only pay 200 per year full coverage

Ya it's all to do with the turbo, and if you don't tell them about it and just sure it as stock they will deny your claim.

I'm 299 for full coverage on my 2012 Summit. Insured amount is for 9k, which wouldn't quite get me a new one, but what that ones worth any who. Good idea on turning off collision after the riding year though, anything to save a few bucks from the insurance industry. What bloody crooks.
