I am in the process of rewiring an x-deck i bought. I am needing something to attach from the main deck frame to the outer edge of the extendable side. something that I can attach the wire to so that it can extend and retract with the side when you move it and keep it tucked up under the deck. I know the marathon i had, had some green strapping of some sort. Not sure where to find something like that though. for the life of me i cannot come up with any other ideas. thought i would see what you guys could come up with.

Piece of a milk jug or a wiper fluid jug and attach the wire to that?

How about a long spring functioning similar to the hood cable on the older sleds?

Would the coiled electrical cables similar to what tractors trailers use work? They will extend and retract on their own.
