Works Great I have a STF sled deck on my truck and I love it, I also Pull a little bubble trailer behind it and I am still able to jack knife my truck enough to unload the deck

I love the deck and would not trade it and my little trailer for a bigger trailer cause it is nice to have that extra weight in the box when in the mountains

I don't think it overloaded, just that most of the weight of the sleds is not in front of the axle. Most all other trucks, short or long boxes, the sled weight is in front of the rear axle letting the truck sit better.

Mine works great. I have put on air bags in the past and it is not necessary but make sure that you have a 3500 with overloads the 2500 does not come with overloads. If you get the 2500 you should/have to put on overloads in my opinion.

Yeah the truck doesn't actually squat to much but with the Fabtech lift, when is new the front is higher then the rear, which is retarted but everyone I ask about it says its because as the lift gets older it will sag in the front causing the truck to then be level, but that excuse does not work for me so I am ordering a set of airbags, as for the handling I find the truck handles like a dream with the sleds on the deck, not so good without the sleds, due the back wheels tracking funny in fresh snow. All dodge short box, boxes are the same length wether they are a mega cab or just a crew cab they are all 6 foot boxes the ramps for the deck is a 2 peice 10ft ramp

The first pic is of how the truck sat before the lift

The next pic is of how the truck gets loaded in the summer, Just add a rhino to the equation

I dont know how to put a pic on here. I am a ford man who never needed air bags till i bought a dodge! I have a 3500 mega and bought a short deck from marathon with a fold up dove tail. When in not sleding i just fold the back 20" up and on to the deck. in the summer u unbolt the back peice and the you can put quads up the and still pull a holiday trailer. Very slick. If you go to marathon decks and talk to Jay he can show you pics of my truck(andrew) He knows me well. oh and the dually doesnt take weight well. With the air bags my truck handles great!!! I only pulled once without them and new something had to be changed

I have a 07 megacab 3500 4x4, the box measures 6'2" inside to inside and a buddy's 07 quadcab 3500 shortbox and the box measures 6'5", not that the 3 " makes alot of difference. My .02 cents.

I have an 07 mfega cab it has a 3" pro comp lift and 315 BFG's and firestone air bags before the lift to drive at night was terrible, I was getting flashed all the time, high beams were pointing at the tree tops. Since installing the air bags no problems works awsome, a definate plus to have the bags with a lift!!
