Sled Bogging out

I have a 99 summit x 670 , an when im im driving it it all of a sudden boggs down at about 6000 rpm an i have to wait till it goes to about 3000 rpm before i can get going again does any one no what this could be

bad piston! may want to have a look inside before you run it again.

i've got the same sled and had the same problem a couple years ago.would be going get then all of a sudden would bog....check crank bearing on the pto side....seems that year of sled had a issue with that bearing. good luck other than that it's a great sled.

Could be a number of things, check compression, new fuel, clean carbs, check exhaust for cracks, DPM for starters

I pulled the head it was the pistion on one side i was blew half apart.. i have t rebulid it now...
