The interior and visibility on the Case/New Holland units is nice.
They must have changed their cabs around recently because I've always thought of them to have the worst visibility out of them all, specially with the forks/bucket 12-18" off the ground. I never did like the feel of the controls in them either.

Kubota gets my vote from an operator/visibility stand point, however I've heard of some expensive repair bills with them.

The JD's aren't to bad, I haven't run any of the newer units however just the 10-15 year old stuff.

Cat is Cat, comfy cab, good controls, decent visibility, extra pricey

If you're looking for something more material handling orientated vs dirt work I reccomend a little zoom boom. No fork or bucket to trip over getting in and out of the machine is very nice.

I have a Cat Th255, made by JLG, 20' boom, 5500lbs lifting capacity in close, manual quick detach for skid steer attachments and an auxiliary hydraulic connection on the end with 20GPM flow.

We have 2016 Deere 323E, Got this roughly 3 1/2 years ago at richie bros it has 1300 hrs on it back then got a super price on it. Cant remember the price, there were 4 from same outfit come with 2 buckets and forks. Has been an awesome unit with great power.

Why do only see; Cat, Deere and Bobcats on construction sites. Seems these brands must be proven for heavy use. I don't see much Kubuta or JCB on sites maybe some JCB for zoom booms that's it.

Guessing because it's cost plus for most sites so all the equipment gets charged out and cost doesnt matter. Also heard, no idea if it's true, but Cat has stopped caring about the little guy. The sales rep didn't seem to interested at Cat when I went in. And still haven't heard back with numbers from Deere.

I did snow removal for a fairly large company last year and their fleet was ;
14-2018 and newer JD 318,320,325 skids. Because of power, price, reliability and parts available.
Cats and Bobcats were too much money for the same skids (they are the top 2) and Kubota make good finishing skids.

Cat natural gas is bad right now for sure, needed cash up front to order overhaul parts for a 3516 overhaul 6 months ago, tried contacting multiple times and get vague answers still waiting..

I don't even think it's just the little guys. They ramped back parts production and we had a horrible time at work (biggest O&G company in Canada) trying to get parts. To the point where we started buying different branded equipment for a bit

depending on who your PSSR is, one of the Edmonton guys has been off on medical leave for about 3-4 months now. His accounts are being handled by a guy out of Surrey
