Our ski-doo wasn`t used much last year, we started it a few times with no problems but this year it will not run without continuously priming it. Does this mean the fuel pump may be dried out and need to be replaced...any help would be great!

make sure there is no water in your fuel tank, had the same happen years ago. the most likely culprit is dirty carbs, if you have to prime it to keep it running your primer is acting like your carbeurator and supplying the fuel. your floats could be stuck, sometimes when the sled is parked with fuel in the float bowls it will evaporate the fuel and stick the float valve in the seat not allowing fuel to enter the bowls. fuel pumps rarely fail, in 25 years of riding (and fixing my own junk) I have never had a failed fuel pump but plenty of gummed up carbs.

If you didn't put fuel stabilizer in the tank drain out the old k-rap and replace it with fresh fuel. It dosn't take that long for fuel to go bad these days. It may also be a good idea to take the tank off and shake it around to try and flush some of the sediment that may be sitting on the bottom.

Double check fuel shut of is in correct position. Might be air in the system, could be dirt in the fuel pump, could be dirt in the carbs, could be cracked vacuum line from crankcase to fuel pump, could be water in the fuel, could be many many things. Start with carbs and water in the fuel and check vacuum line - no vacuum means no fuel.
