Shuswap Lake Riding

Little early but trying to plan ahead if any BC folks have any info on Trails in the Shuswap. I have been searching the internet but typically only comes up with walking trails. Ive heard of Mt. Ida but thats it. What I would really like to find is a trail that takes off from the lake somewhere as we will be on a house boat for the majority of the stay, or somewhere close to the lake. Will be on dirtbike so any single track suggestions are appreciated.

I have ridden Mt Ida from silver creek over towards salmon arm. Nice view up top but not a "real" mtn. Maybe a local from seymour arm could steer you in the right direction. I always wanted to do a tour up that way.

Is there anyplace to camp and ride out of near mount Ida?

not that I am aware of. There are camping grounds such as Pierre's Point and Sandy Point in Salmon Arm but they would be a 15 min drive to Mt Ida or Fly Hills (which has a lot more riding areas than Mt. Ida).
