Stock helix and a white white spring instead of a pink in position 1 and 6 ...this is (1+6 x 10 = 70 deg.)
green white green and Dalton DTYA-2 weights.
The weights are cheaper than purchasing the shockwave.

yes, adjustable weight system, very simple.

Try 81.0 grams to start with and go from there.

No need to remove weights to tune. I have been using them for all my boosted yamaha's for years.

I am running the 180 MPI kit in my 2008, recomended clutching was the same as TABSTER but was to just load up the factory weights. Playing around one day i stuck a 42 degree helix in, and it ran great.

The recommended factory set up of 8fs weights loaded up with all three holes filled with 17.2 mm solid steel is to light for low elevation/flatland riding.

all of my riding is between 5 and 8000 ft so i am just trying to nail it down at home so its good forthe hills. unfortunately no snow to test at home so becomes frustrating to tweak then drive 6-7hrs and not have as a guy wishes ,just means more work in the trailer at night but sometimes a wasted day also.

Dtya-1 Base weight is less than dtya-2.

8fs loaded up(79 gr each).

Green/white/green pri spring.

14.5 rollers.

Stock helixPink or white/white sec spring.

Spring offset at 1 and 6 = 70degree.

This should be bang on for riding elevation.
