Sherry's gone from the NCL

A sad day indeed. Left NCL at the end of April.
New manager is some Elizabeth. Not have the personality of Sherry.
Oh, and they put the prices up 12% on regular rooms and a whack more for the suites. Place won't be the same. May possibly have to look around for possible other accomodations this winter. Maybe back to the old Bell Mountain Motel ?

I just booked a room for over the christmas holidays and the person I talked to didn't know if the sledders rates would be continuing this year, or the security overnight. We'll wait and see this winter.

We've gotten to know the new owners over the last year or so, and he a decent guy, if the rates go up a bit, its better than losing a decent place to stay out there. Sorry to hear about Sherry leaving, she was always good to us.

They are on the second owner.....The Karas's sold it to the company that now has it.

Elizabeth is an older lady and very good to deal with. I think rates only went up a couple dollars, and if you want cookies, just ask her. The place is very clean now and new management in the restaurant.

Stayed at NCL last weekend, fewer tv channels no weather channel or current weather forecast at desk, cleaning staff turned down thermostat to lowest setting every morning, had problem with plugged toilet were told here is a plungger when we said we were leaving for supper. I won't be staying there again any time soon.

We came back yesterday ,great riding, good room clean it did go up a bit in price the food not as good as last year. The breakfast was ok but supper is better at the Giggling Grizzly. Over all it was ok, would go back.

The atmosphere is different there since sherry left she ran a tight ship.
