Petition to the Government of Canada
Whereas:

Differential justice based on an individual’s religion is prejudicial and preferential, therefore, an amendment to the Constitution Act of 1982 would ease the minds of all Canadians and ensure equal treatment for everyone under the Criminal Code of Canada.

We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to propose an amendment to the Constitution Act of 1982, under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, stating that Sharia Law or separate Sharia family courts will never have a place in the Canadian Justice System.

Signed as well. Unfortunately the precedent has already been set with the establishment of the aboriginal court system. Also, the isolated immigrant communities that want sharia courts will set them up anyway as they have done in Great Britain with the over 800 sharia courts that exist there.

yup no doubt there, caught my attention couple weeks ago when CBC had a heart warming story of a refugee family coming in from Syria with 7 kids, in one generation that family from current parents down could grow from 9 individuals to 51 if the 7 kids have 7 kids each, vs my family of 4 growing to 8 from each having 2 kids. Take that out 3 generations and it becomes approx 350 vs 16.
