Theres a sensor in the air box area of my sled, held in with two robertson screws small little unit. Anyone know what its for? I'm thinking ambient temperature? I'm putting a polycarbonate hood on and should probably relocate this sensor.

Any help?

thanks fellas.

What did you find out about it? I believe it is the ambient temperature sensor(ats)... could also be called the air intake temp sensor

I looked on the skidoo parts website, says air temp sensor. So i'll just relocate it near the intake on my new hood. make a little box for it so the exhaust doesn't heat it up.

You are running a turbo, if so try and place it in the intake charge tube for accurate readings. If not place it in a Luke warm spot or something close to what your charge temps may be.
