Seat warmer doesn't work

2010 duramax and the passenger seat warmer lights come on then shut off after about 3 minutes. The seat or back rest doesn't get warm at all. Any ideas?? It did this a few weeks ago when it was -35 and the engine light was on. Light went off and the seat warmer worked fine.

Anyone have any ideas?? Is the element pooched? Is there a short? Someone has to have some kind of idea??

My '05 had a bad element and behaved the same, minus the CEL.

I would say that mabe had a communication code, making both happen

Cause that's about the only thing tied to both

I had an 09 do the same thing. About $300 at the dealer to replace the element.
