Scratchers wearing marks into rail

Stripped my sled down for some powdercoating this weekend. And when breaking down the skid I noticed the tips of my scratchers have been wearing the extrusion part on the inside of my rail. I'll try to remember to snap some pic's tomorrow before I take them in for powdercoating. Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up on that. Might be something you'll wanna check. Sled is 09 M8 w/400 miles, scratchers on since new. Gonna have to come up with something like a rubber or plastic stopper to prevent it.

yeah, i noticed mine are doing the same thing. I'll have to keep an eye on this topic, see if someone;s got an good ideas. Like u said something plastic or rubber thatwould clip on the rail would work!
