Riser

Say...I just bought an 08 M1000 and was wondering if the 09 telescopic riser was a quick bolt on?,,,,,and if they were any good?...thanks...Darren

Bolted on a set onto My 07 M1000. Do-able but a 26er and a buddy will make the job lot easier oh by the way love it

I looked into it, it depends on what is important to you. If you want adjustability...fine, if you just want to achieve the height than it is much cheaper to go to a simple riser, I put a 4" on my 07 m1000 with a little rerouting of the throttle cable and some minor adjustments to my brake cable it was a piece of cake. If you want the adjustment then I think all of the parts are less than $300.00 and an afternoon of work in the garage will get er done!

well thankya all....i think having it adjustable would be great....and stock parts at that....I might not even break it...ya right...lol
