So, even though he was known as a great fighter, he never had more than 9 fights in any season.....

less than 200 penalty minutes per season.

Just the presence of him was enough to intimidate.

He was more of a protector, not a scrapper or fighter......you touched any of our star players, he knew what he had to do....and it wasn't always a beating

Too bad we didn't have him around to stand up to guys like Getslaff or Kesler....chippy, slashing style ....can't stand those SOB'S
