Hi Guys,
Looking to start riding in the Golden area in the New Year. Only been there once on a Quartz Creek run with the dealers and had a great time. Usually rode in the Crowsnest Pass area but looking to bring my sled back to Calgary to open up some more chances to ride as the availability of my sledding partners in the south is becoming limited. Hoping to meet up with some similar minded riders:
-no drinking on the trail
-modest climbing(happy to climb steep and deep but not interested in high marking or kissing cornaces)
-capable mountain sled(Stock Ski Doo Everest 800 154inch track)
-Probe, shovel and beacon.
-hope to minimize expense to body and sled - never had to tow my ride out yet and would like to continue the trend.
I am able to pull my single sled to the site or I could chip in for gas if someone would like to meet up in Calgary with a trailer big enough for an extra unit.
