Saw some terrible footage in my email today from Revelstoke. Don't know any details but it was scary.....does anyone have more info?

Sympathies to friends and families and I sincerely hope that there were no fataliities.

A bunch of sleds were coming down a chute one after another, totally out of control with a large amount of carnage. The clip showed a helicopter coming in and it was not clear whether it picked up a person or people or what.

It looked like they where towing out a sled? When towing's gone bad!!

I think that footage was from a few years ago at the BIS.

Watched that happen with my own eyes. It was a group of ppl from out of town not alot of exp in the mnts, and some guy desided to go that way. It was bad. A few ppl hurt and lots of sleds damaged.

Wasnt good! It was wifes and kids.

What he said. If its the one where the guy is blabbing away at the bottom while filming and swearing, its the one from the informal "BIS" a few years back.

Thats it Amy i`m taking back my last rep. That was some bad crash for sure. Looks like some hurt riders and sleds
