renegade 500 and 800 gear boxes are they the same

just like the title says wondering if the gear boxes are interchangable????

have some bad bearings in my 500 renegade and i know they will find a way for it not to be warranty

They will physically fit, but if they are like the Outlanders, the gear ratio in low range is different. The 650 and 500 Outlanders have a lower ratio in low range than the 800s.
