Heading in there on Thursday,was wondering about the river crossing at Nevis. Has anyone been in there yet? How high is the water? I was there 4 years ago but that was in August so the crossing was no problem then but I would imagine it could be an issue this early.

Nevis and all others this early you are taking a chance.
River levels in the North are high this time of year due to melting snow and rains .
I check river levels and all are quite high right now.

Thanks for the reply,Ya i am aware of the high water levels at this time of the year. I am hoping that its not so deep that the crossings are impassable. One of my riding partners said that a new crossing was made upstream at Nevis that is better than the old one.

The river will be high I suspect, a late thaw as well as alot of rain in the area the last couple of days
