The wife runs studded winter tires which have been amazing for the last 4 winters. I am considering getting them re-studded, and I remember there was a member on here that said they could do it. Fountain tire or Kal tire somewhere around Edmonton? Anyone remember?

He's gone, left the store about three months ago. Was a good chit and had his guys do great work.

Yup cannot restud tires or stud used tires....small rocks, debris, natural age weather cracking in tires will weaken the tire and possibly cause catastrophic failure ... I believe it is illegal to stud used tires or restud missing studs, as per Alberta safety and traffic
