So I'm just looking at this rear carrier and thinking to myself this is pretty simple. It's a full time locker no breaking when turning or anything. Each axle goes in opposite ends.

It's like a spool for race cars.... A diff like this makes it harder to turn, because both rear wheels try to push at the same speed, but when you turn a corner, the inside tire needs to turn slower than the outside tire, which is why most vehicles have pinion gears( or spider gears) to allow "differential" action.....this type of diff, may cause some wheel hop on sharp turns as the 2 rear wheels try to turn at different speeds, but they're not allowed to......easy to do donuts with, if u have the power ;)

Yup my brothers 650 prowler has the same thing . It does take a lot to slip . His will chew up grass at the cabin turning sharp

Most guys "turf" the turf saver in the prowlers. It's not a friggin golf cart lol
