They're gas v6 with 8 speed tranny gets great mileage... with all the new BS diesels have on them... ill wait 1 year before i get excitted and see what problems if any guys are having... but it's very nice IMHOP to see a half ton diesel... to bad they didnt have these before all the epa S*** actually the wife's new F150 5.0 4x4 screw keeps on suprising me fuel milage wise hope it stays that way with age

3.0 liter sounds a little wimpy. Hopefully it's got some good hp/tq numbers to back it up.
I'd be all for it if I was looking for a 1/2 ton. Probably get better mileage towing than any of the gasser do.
Either way it's about time someone offered it.
