Rain

It has been raining off and on all day today in the pass with Horrifying winds. Earlier it looked like snow up high but you can definately see the tops now. It is 7 Deg right now @ 3PM and the winds are gusting to 100KMH with a wind warning in effect thru tonight. The snow drift in front of my house has shrunk an entire 2 feet today.
Fernie area is supposed to get between 10-30cm ( Today thru Fri) according to the hill and had 4 cm overnight. It is suppoosed to cool down a bit tom and flurries and some snow for the pass.
Sorry for the rain report, but Corbin might get lots by the weekend as long as the temps stay low and it does not rain up high

Added to that, in Elkford, which is at 4300' or 1300m, we got 3 cm of snow. It was warm enough that the snow was melting so we will have a Dec 8 crust in the snow pack. We did not get rain.....
