Extreme Blizzard conditions currently at Tete Jaune. Very poor visibility, strong wind gusts. Weather network not showing current conditions here.
Current report is McBride -16C with 5 cm expected overnight with snow continuing to Wednesday and warming to -5C.
Travellers report 20- 30 second white-outs with passing trucks. Earlier traffic delay by scales on 16 East with semi in ditch - apparently ok now. Snow plows currently out.

Blizzard has subsided - wind minimal - snow very light - still lots of blowing snow on highway 16
16 east to Jasper closed to wide loads tonight
