How much run out or wobble should the lower QD pully have?

Ideally none. Sloppy ones break the bolt head off.
That's what I thought . I looked at one today the belt was flapping because the lower pully has a wobble.

I did bounce one off a stump a couple years ago and bent the bottom sprocket.

I had a brand new Polaris with a wobbly lower gear a few years back. It was so bad I was not comfortable leaving it. I highly recommend using Loctite 660 on the splines. The Loctite 660 is for worn shafts and splines. On mine I went a bit farther too. I drilled the axle and retapped larger and installed a harded stud with red Loctite. I used 2 nuts to lock the gear on. Never had an issue. The Loctite 660 comes off with heat.
