Scored this little beauty this morning from out by Winfield. The Old Lady I dealt with told me it she thought it was an 1983. I bought for her asking price of $500. I didn't even hagle the price. I already kinda felt like I was thieving it at that! I had the Vin ran at the Honda dealer here in Camrose and it was originally sold in Moosejaw Sask. Turns out the its a 1986 z50R

Pretty excited! It needs a couple new tires, a petcock for the new tank that also needs repainting. And I need to mount the number plates that she also gave me!

Awesome. He looks some proud.
How old is your boy ?
My oldest will be 5 next summer and I'm debating weather to get him on a 50 dirt bike next year or wait one more.
He already rides the chit outta the 50 quad.

He was Super proud the entire day! Even found him sitting on it Sunday morning in the garage just after I woke up! The little guy sitting on the bike is 5 now. He'll be 6 in June. By the time this little guys gets to big for the Honda his littler brother should be ready to go!

It sure is awesome to see the little guys pumped about their machines. I want to get my youngest on the 50 quad next summer, he'll be 3 which is the same age as his brother was when he learned to ride it. Only thing is I'm going to need to get a machine for the older boy. I'm not to sure about 2 wheels next year at 5. Was hoping to skip training wheels but may start him on it with them.

If your son is on a pedal bike without training wheels, then a motorized version should be the same.

I'm a fan of the TTR-110 for slightly older kids as the key is awesome (homework not done? no key!) and with the 5 speed, they accommodate kids for years.
