pro rmk rpm too high

i have a 2011 pro and the rpm will reach 8450 at half throttle. have to be carefull all the time. sled is completely stock. this is the only issue i have had with it. any body experience the same. i ride from 3000-8500 normally.

I aggree with boostmonkey.The 11's must have had a bad run of springs. When I bought mine, I got a spare just in case. Simple to check and fix!

I am no micnic but from what I have seen, it does rev higher. FYI i am talking a 2-300 rpm

A broken spring will decrease rpm... unless it is in some how binding the weights from opening up... did you have a belt shred lately? Your problem could be in the secondary!!! belt threads (if you've had one go) or broken roller....
