I see on the SLP website that their stage kits all include an air box modification. Dtilling an extra 2" hole in the shelf and installing another horn? Has anyone done this? Is it worth doing?

I would take the horns out and install a fire n Ice air screen on top under the gauge pod.

So you remove the shelf completely? I looked at the fire and ice stuff and it looks good. Have you done this? Must be alot louder?

bikeman sells the part with the air horns with 3 one inch holes added close to the horns to add to the air stream i guess. i did it myself with a one inch uni bit and some emery cloth.

I don't find it loud at all. works awesome. I have removed the horns out of the last three pro's I've owned.
