pro brake whine?

Has anyone noticed a whining noise from there brake. I tightened up the drive chain a bit and it seemed worse so i loosened it off a bit. Is this normal?

I had that too. Take off your lever and grind off about 1mm off end which contacts plunger. Maybe it's all in my head but it works better for me after that .Doesn't whine as much and sometimes it don't whine at all.

Normal. Mine has it too. just make sure your brake caliper isnt getting to hot

I had the noise problem. The park break was very difficult to set and the pads were always tight to the disk. I had the complete break system replaced under warranty. My new brake whines a bit, but I think its normal. Before the whine was louder than the engine.

there are quite a few guys reporting a whine and the break light also coming on by itself sometimes. seems the fix is to take the brake lever off and grind a bit where it pushes on the plunger.

Thanks for the replies guys, i think i will grind a little off the plunger as well
