What's everyone paying on new half ton trucks, all in? Just looking to get an idea before I go play let's make a deal.

Thinking that it makes virtually no sense to buy a used rig and potentially get burned off warranty.

Thinking GM or Ford. Middle of the road trim, crew cab, 6.5 ft box.

for a 2014 you should easily get 15000-17000 off the sticker price

If your buying Ford wait until the employee pricing.

Guy at work bought a 2014 GMC 1500 SLT 6.2L Crew Cab 5.5' box, Loaded, Leather, Nav, etc. Paid $71,000 out the door with extended warranty back in December.
I bought a 2014 F350 Crew Cab 6.5' box Lariat 6.7 Powerstroke, Loaded with every option, with 6" lift, 35's, flaps and flares. Paid $77,000 out the door with everything.:d
Another guy at work is looking a 2014 GMC 1500 SLT Crew Cab 6.5' box Leather, no nav or sunroof, different tires leveling kit and running boards. and they quoted him ~$61,000 out the door.

I would hope your company could get a 2013 non curent less then a 2014. Lol

I would have paid as much for a 13 as a 14, those square wheel wells are UGLY.

I remember not too long ago that a good 1/2 truck was 20 grand. Some of these trucks are going for as much as I paid for my house

Wow. Maybe I'm alone but 71k for a half ton is insane.

When is that? Any idea?

Friend of mine has one. He was 43k with extended warranty and tax.
Man, prices are really all over the place.

Our dealer up here charges out the a$$ for their trucks, but people pay it. This truck was also one of the first 6.2's they had in as well, and they will only deal a little on them as everyone up here seems to want them.

I was also looking to buy a leftover 2014 Denali Duramax off them put they wouldn't give me a decent price, I told them I was going to look at Ford first, and their response was "go ahead, we'll sell it to someone else for this price", and sure enough it was sold a week later, so I took their advice and bought a Ford.

In them hills.
Yeah 71k is nuts. At the end of 2014 I just about pulled the trigger on a 2013 full load f350 diesel for 55k but even thought that price was steep.

2014 Silverado 1 Lt crew 6'6" box 5.3 3.42 rear end.$39,500 plus tax. That was back in November. No leather but 8" mylink, power seat auto climate, heated seats,18" cast wheels, remote start, trailer tow package, easy lift tailgate, led box light. Mostly stuff I use and nothing extra that I don't need, keeps the cost down.

Thank you sir. Exactly what I needed, and sort of what I am looking at!

If your buying new and don't mind dodge...give them a hard look. I was the guy who posted about the Eco in your other thread...with the tuner (who's girlfriend also owns a 5.0), My brother also has a brand new 2013 Dodge Sport, loaded with Hemi and 8 speed tranny. It is a NICE truck with great power and gets good mileage. Same as both the fords if driven sanely (same goes with the fords) I'm not sure how pricing is now a days but my bro got a good reasonable deal. Im pretty lucky to have three of these trucks to basically drive whenever I choose. You can not really go wrong with any of them. All three have there pros and cons. I chose the eco for the low end and I knew I was going to tune it. A few other cosmetic things on the ford as well. The dodge was a close second and probably would have went with one if not for a tuned eco. I would say drive them all and forget about price, then you will know what you really want...then factor in price lol. You will be happier in the end if you can swing what you truly want. Priorities are the end of course so price will be important but it may not be that big a diff depending on dealer.
