You have to measure the amount of exposed cable at the end that attaches to the servo motor. Everything, including the specs, is listed in your owners manual. If you don't have a manual let me know I run a 2008 M1000 and have the service manual! Saw a guage on ebay awhile back as well think www.epicsleds.com was selling them but could be wrong!

thanx for the info have looked in owners manual a few times could'nt find anything will look again it has to be there somewhere.

phone a dealer and find out what the spec is and just use a vernier caliper and mearsure from were the cable comes out of tube th the bottom of the barrel on the cable end.not sure what the 1000s are

searched manual high and low all i find is that it should be checked and adjusted monthly no specs. on cable length or how to do it.
