Polish to protect new trailer

Dealer wants to sell me Diamond-Kote protective application on a new RV trailer for 'bout $1ooo. Any suggestions that may be just as effective and cheaper?

I looked around over the last few months and couldnt find anything that would last, so we caved, we got the diamond-kote on our new fifth wheel. Expensive but you can barter with them to reapply for free after 5 years. Good Luck.

The Diamond Kote looks really good and keeps your Trailer pretty shinny, They say that it will keep the plastic from yellowing under the sun and its warrenty for 5 years Thats BS, my plastic on my trailer yellowed withing a year and I have fought and fought to get it replaced and they won't due f all
