Currently 379 wildfires in Alberta.
2 worst are in Lodgepole and High Level, both suspected of being man made.
Only 2 of the 379 are suspected to be from lightning.
That leaves ALOT being man made!

We were at chump lake this weekend. Did a run the one morning and nothing. Couple hours later went by the same spot and there was a big fire across the lake. Watched as one helicopter started dousing it with water as another plane came in to run the show. Soon the Bombers came in and went to work. We couldn't find where they were picking up, maybe Skeleton lake?? Anyways we timed it. Just over 4 minutes between each plane picking up and dropping water. 4 water bombers and 1 chemical. Amazing watching them work.
