i have a 1991 yamaha venture. recently the drive belt broke and busted 1 of the resistors under the foot boards. all the places i have looked say they are on backorder. will it hurt to run the sled without them? seem to run just as good as before.another question what is the purpose of them? do they act like lil heatsinks to keep the foot rest from icing?, just an idea.
