pine pass avy has highway shut down

Just saw this, has been a few years since this happened. was planing to sled on teusday in the untouched pow, its been too cold to sled for a week, and snowing like mad!!

Yup nice picture from 2008 and where this years avalanche occured is between Silversands and that sweet cabin at the start of all the construction. The hwy there has good visibility in both directions.
