I'm looking into buying a pipe most likely a HMF swamp XL slip on. Will I need a optimizer for my machine?

You could probably get away with the Swmp Series slip-on as it is not super free flowing....BUT typically, the 09 and newer machines run leaner than the 06 to 08's and *should* be tuned after monkeying with the airbox (snorkels) or exhaust (pipe).

Lots of people get away with a slip-on and no tuner....your results may vary.

I better look into getting one then since I plan on buying a pipe pretty soon here
