Thats called lack of experience. Why keep digging yourself down? Grab the winch when you are stuck and go. No use making it more difficult then you have to. lol.

Yup i have been, and likely will be, I have had my 4500 lb winch groaning, The ranger is twice the weight, likely twice the mass. Thought it was part of the landscape more than once. Lol

Had the school bus rzr4 planted in a skeg hole back in the spring.. Water coming in over top of the doors.. Took 2 4500lb winches to get it out.. One pulling back and the other to the side trying to break suction.. From the side you could see the roll bar sticking out in the grass.. Good times..

Ha.. Guy on the grizz did not want to get dirty at all.. Left a real deep hole for his buddies behind..
