Hah just like the tire thread, just wondering what everyone is running in there rig for oil.

I am using mobil 1 full syn and my gas milage seems to have dropped. Is this normal? or is just cause its winter out now? Normally synthetic is going to give you better gas milage.

Was think of the petro can stuff as well.

CO-OP DMO 0w40 full syn I run it in eveything from lawn mowers to Cat equiptment all year around. 0w40 full syn [pick your brand] is the best there is out there right now.IMHO

Esso (mobil) 0W40 synthetic year round. I get it at Napa for around $27 for a 4L jug. We use it in all of our equipment at work with no issues whatsoever.

Mileage in the winter will typically go down even from idling more, which a guy doesn't pay much attention to..
Amsoil 100% Synthetic 5W-40.

I change my oil regularly so i dont really give a crap what brand i run in my cummins. If i had to go extended then i would put in Amsoil. The 0/40 isnt so good on high boost engines they tend to drink it.
