Hmm I see fried harnesses, cooked wheel bearings, a whole litany of stuff that will be cropping up. Hope they write it off 'cause the problems and down time won't end untill yer outta dat truck. Just sayin...

all parts would have to come from pete so you wont save on parts at another dealership, and labour would be about the same. I'm sure his tank is good and could be swapped over. shouldn't cost anywhere near 190 for just truck.

I have been working on trucks for a little while now and that is the first time I have heard of that one. Very cool. Not cool for you but makes a good story.

A customer of mine had his 4wd tractor struck by lightning a number of years ago. It was a never ending nightmare trying to get it back to working properly. The only advice I can give is replace absolutely EVERYTHING electrical, from the controllers, harnesses, right to the batteries.
